The S1000D is useful as a one time or temporary personal grounding device. This low cost unit is ideal for inclusion with replacement PC boards for field replacement. The red dissipative vinyl terminates in an alligator clip for connection to a suitable ground. A convenient slip noose goes over the wrist and should be firmed up for a comfortable but snug fit.
