Dust Mask

It is rather impressive how much help the finely threaded cloth in dust masks provides in protecting a wearer from harm. Dust masks are most useful in protecting the wearer from harmful airborne particles like dust and pollen that could damage the lungs or cause allergic reactions. Mostly they are worn when cleaning up the house or yard, or especially in the construction field where dust particles from wood, drywall, concrete or glass shards can pose a threat to the lungs.
    However, dust masks are ineffective in protecting from inhalation of dangerous fumes, vapors or gases, which are able to move through and around a dusk mask. If you are going to be exposed to potentially harmful gases or fumes, we highly recommend the purchase of a respirator.
